In this single-player game, you will start the game with 3 new words each day, and your goal is to create as many words as possible in 3 minutes.
In Two-Player Mode, both players are given 11 random letter tiles and compete to create as many words as possible. Two-player mode consists of 3 rounds, 60-seconds each.
In Game of the Day, you have 3 minutes to create as many new words as possible using the tiles on your rack and the board. Each word must be at least four letters long, and every tile on the board must form a valid word—no stray letters allowed. Using the tiles on the board, along with tiles from your rack, quickly create as many new words as possible. and yes - you can break words apart!
Once the timer ends, your score is tallied. And the best part, you can play this game over and over again during the day because it's never the same game twice. Even though the daily word trio is the same, you never know what 11 letters the computer is going to toss into your rack.
Strategic play is key—variations of words, like making a word plural, are allowed but can only be scored once per game. Using all tiles of the same color earns double points and locks the word into the Cattycombs. Tokens can be earned by scoring 100+ points in a game or by beating your best 100+ score of the day. You can use up to two tokens per game, each extending the timer by 30 seconds. Additional tools like the word list, shuffle, and revert buttons help players refine their strategy and maximize their score.
Two-Player Mode consists of 3 60-second rounds where players compete to create as many words as possible. Both players start with 11 tiles in his/her rack and must quickly form new words before the timer runs out. To get on the board, your first word must score at least 11 points. The player with the highest total score at the end of all 3 rounds wins the game.
